🔍 Note: The order of the settings is important, as there may be dependencies between them.
👤 User Creation
For an employee to access netLex and use the platform, their user account must be created. This process is usually done by the system administrator or someone with permission to create accounts.
When registering users, you need to provide:
- Access credentials (email);
- Name;
- Access profile definition.
After registration, the employee will receive an email with a link to create a password. 🔒
🔍 Note: This process only applies to companies that access the system with a netLex user. For companies with access integration (Single Sign-On), users are created automatically when they first log in with the credentials provided by their company. Later, it will only be necessary to assign profiles.

👥 Access Profiles
After logging into the platform for the first time, users need to be assigned an access profile to view available functionalities and documents. Without this configuration, users won’t be able to perform their activities.
Access profiles are used to define user permissions, indicating which processes they can execute and which documents they can access. They can be customized for each folder and user type.
You can assign as many profiles as you want to a user. The permissions are cumulative, and the combination of selected options defines the access granted to a user.
You can create a new profile or edit an existing one, selecting the desired options.

📍 Team Creation and Editing
You can create teams in netLex and add members to them, allowing users to share responsibilities and information. A team can be responsible for specific tasks, and responsibilities can also be transferred between teams.

✏️ Creation of Types and Subtypes
You can organize documents in the system according to their nature, grouping them by document types used by your company. This configuration is necessary to add document templates to the system. Some types are already predefined, but you can define new ones.
To learn more about configuring Types and Subtypes, go to:
📂 Folder Creation
To add document templates to the system, you must first create folders to help with organization. Folders distribute the templates according to areas or sectors, such as Corporate, Tax, Legal, etc.

🗂️ Templates Organization and Editing
To upload automated documents to the platform, you need to create templates. Each template contains the automated document and its configurations, such as permissions, workflow, and metadata.

📃 Document Management
In addition to the initial system configurations, administrators need to manage the created documents. The platform offers several features, such as:
