💡 What is the Installable App?

netLex can be installed on your computer. In practice, this means you can access netLex as if it were a regular program on your desktop, instead of just a tab in your browser.

Important to know: This is not a software that will be traditionaly installed. It is a shortcut that uses your browser (such as Chrome) to open netLex in a dedicated window, giving it the look and feel of a desktop application. This makes access and usability much easier.

🛠️ How to "Install" netLex?

The installation process is simple and is usually initiated by your own browser, which recognizes netLex as an installable application (PWA - Progressive Web App).

1. Access netLex in your browser (for example, Google Chrome).
2. Look for the installation icon in the address bar. Usually, it is an icon of a computer with a down arrow or a plus sign (+) inside the URL bar.
   
   
3. Click on this icon and then select the Install option.
4. netLex will open in a new dedicated window, without the address bar or browser tabs.
5. A shortcut will be created on your desktop and in your computer's Start menu.

That's it! You can access netLex directly through this shortcut. Everything available in the web version is exactly the same in the installable app version.

Since it is a browser shortcut and not native software, the installable app has some limitations, especially in the context of multiple environments:

• Multiple Environments: If your company uses more than one netLex environment (e.g., Sandbox and Production), the icon and the name of the installable app will be the same, which may make it difficult to differentiate between them.
• Experience: This experience is ideal for clients who access only one netLex environment.

  No. Everything in the installable app is exactly the same as on the website. There is no difference in functionality.
