The filters in the Documents screen have been redesigned to be more intuitive and practical. This improvement includes:
- A modern and organized layout;
- New filters and features;
- Greater ease in locating and saving your preferences.
This update is being gradually rolled out to customers using NextGen documents or those who have completed the metadata-to-properties migration.

New filter design
The filters have been redesigned and moved to the sidebar menu:

New conditions
1. “is” or “is not”
You can now specify filters using “is” or “is not.”
Example: “Owner is not Sandra” excludes documents assigned to Sandra.
2. “contains” or “does not contain”
For text filters, you can now search for specific fragments you want to find.
3. “is before,” “is after,” and “is between”
New filter options for properties that are date-type fields.

Filter by category to easily locate specific options.

Save filters in tabs
Just like before, you can save filters in custom tabs to access them whenever needed. Simply click “Save view.”
