How to allow external users or users without access to netLex to create documents.
At some point, it may be necessary for an external user or someone without access to netLex to create a document on the platform. In order to do this, you can configure templates in the platform so that they are public documents.
To configure a template so that it will be a public document, you need to activate the option for this configuration on the template page. This option is highlighted in the image below.
As a public document, the system will provide a link for external users to access the platform and fill out the questionnaire. After filling it out, the external user can generate the document that will be directed to the internal areas of your company according to the workflow settings.
Once configured, simply copy the public link and send it to the users who will fill it out. By accessing the link, the user must indicate his name and e-mail for internal control of the platform, and then click on the button "Fill questionnaire" to proceed with the creation of the document.
Note that since this is a public document that will be created by external users without access to the platform, it is not possible that the document's workflow has an " Alias" approval rule with the alias "Author". If the workflow has any rule of this type, the system will indicate this problem as shown in the image below.
