🎯 Objective
In this guide, you will understand the new logic behind netLex's access permissions. You will learn how the system ensures the security of your data through dual validation and will be able to quickly navigate to the specific settings of each profile section.

Important: This update is being released gradually. If the new profiles do not yet appear for you, your environment will be updated automatically soon. 🚀
🔐 The Dual Validation Rule
For a user to perform actions within a folder (such as editing, downloading, or signing), netLex performs a dual validation. This means that the desired permission must be enabled in both places simultaneously:
- In the Access Profile: Defines what the user can do within the platform in general.
- In the Folder Settings: Defines what the user is permitted to do specifically in that folder.
⚠️ Attention: If the permission is enabled in only one of these places, the user will not be able to perform the action. netLex will always adopt the most restrictive configuration between the two.
