When you want to start a conversation about a document with people inside or outside your company without opening a review process, you can use the document chat.
This chat is available in the sidebar to the right of the document management screen. Upon entering the chat, a “General” room is already automatically available, to which all employees of your company who are involved in the document's workflow have access.
It is also possible to create specific conversations, selecting only the people on your team or a supplier, for example. To communicate with people outside your company, they need to be registered as contacts on the platform.
When sending a message, you can mark a contact by typing "@" and the desired email next (ex .: @ contato @ netlex.com.br). That person will be notified by email about your message, being directed to the chat. The only way to notify participants of your message is to mark them in this way.
If you are an employee of your company, you will see the document management screen inside netLex; if you are a supplier, you will see the document version from the moment it was marked, without being able to edit or insert comments, just exchange messages. If you want to update this external contact, so that he can see a new version of the document, you must mark him in the chat again.
In addition, you can edit or remove a message you sent and reply to a specific message in the conversation by clicking on the icon with three vertical dots highlighted in the image below. The sending and receiving of new messages takes place in real time.
