Frequently asked questions and their answers
- How to know if the current version of the document is signed?
You can view the signature status in the “document versions” tab. There are listed all the versions already generated of this document and also which one is signed.
The signature is updated in the current version of the document, without creating a new one.
If there are other signed versions in the "document management" tab, a new external version of this document may have been uploaded or a manual change may have been made through the questionnaire/editor.
When uploading an external version and replacing the main document, it is possible to indicate if it is already signed to be included in the status on the platform.
- Is it possible to fix the signer in netLex without canceling the entire signing process?
Currently, it is not possible to correct the signer in netLex after the signature has been submitted. The correct process is to cancel the submission, correct the desired information, and resubmit.
If the signatory is changed directly in the provider after sending the signature by netLex, the change is not recognized by the system.
- Signer Status did not change to “completed” after document was signed.
This system behavior indicates that the contact information on the signature provider is different from the information on netLex.
Occurs when the contract information is changed directly in the signature provider's environment after it has been sent by the system, mainly the name and e-mail of the signatories.
Providers are platforms external to netLex, once changed in their environment, it causes the loss of tracking and we run the risk of not keeping up with the evolution of signature on the platform.
- Is it possible to resend emails to signers through netLex?
The sending of emails related to the sending of the signature is carried out and managed directly by the signature provider. For this reason, it is not possible to individually resend emails via netLex.
The sending of emails related to the signature process is carried out and managed directly by the signature provider. Through netLex it is only possible to cancel the signature envelope and create a new one.
Note: There is no harm in resending the email directly through the signature provider, but we are unable to track whether or not the signatories have received it. This verification can also be done directly at the provider.
- I didn't find the user I want to enter as a signer in the system.

- What to do if I have indicated the wrong people to sign the document?
