How to configure the Slack integration
Slack is a messaging app for businesses that connects people through chat rooms. You can send a message to anyone inside or outside your organization in specific spaces called channels, which allow you to bring people together in groups or teams.
The purpose of this integration is to direct all notification emails from the platform to the Slack Workspace. These notifications are automatic and according to the type of action on the platform.
To configure the Integration between the two platforms, it is necessary to have Administrator permission.
- Within Netlex, access the “Settings” menu:
- Then in the integrations area click on "Extensions".
- Click "Activate".
You'll be redirected to log in with your Slack platform account
- Just allow netLex access.
The integration will be completed and indicated with the status "Active":
Notes:
It is not possible to associate the integration with more than one workspace. If you own more than one workspace, you can choose which one you want to integrate.
Users must have the same email on both platforms. If they are different emails, the integration will not be able to identify the user correctly. If the system cannot find the user in Slack, the notification will not be lost, it will be sent by email.
To delete the integration, just click the "Exclude" button.
