💡 What is this feature?
The netLex calendar serves to parameterize what the platform should consider as a "business day". By defining recesses and holidays, the system enables the automatic postponement of document SLA due dates, preventing deadlines from expiring on dates when the company is closed.
⚙️ How to access calendar settings
- In the left sidebar menu, access Settings.
- Click on the Business days calendar option.
🛠️ How to create and manage a calendar
Add a new calendar
If there are no registered calendars, click on the + Add calendar button. Define a name for it and save.
Manage business days and holidays
By clicking on Three dots > Edit on an existing calendar, you can review the definition of weekends, holidays, and recesses, besides renaming it.
Example: If Saturday is no longer considered a business day at your company, you can uncheck it in this section so that deadlines start being counted properly from the next month onward.
Delete
-
Delete: Permanently removes the calendar from the platform.
⏳ Impact on deadlines and SLA
If your company's documents use deadlines configured in "business days", netLex will automatically recalculate the due dates whenever a holiday or recess is detected in the configured calendar.
⚠️ Important: Calendar changes only affect new documents created after the configuration. Documents that were already in progress maintain their original SLA without recalculation.
❓ Frequently asked questions
- What happens if I delete a holiday? The system will stop considering that day as a recess for new documents, counting it as a business day again.
- Did the SLA of an old contract change on its own after an adjustment in the calendar? No. According to the system rule, the SLA of old documents is not recalculated due to calendar changes to preserve the legal certainty of the process history.
