There are two types of users on the netLex platform:
- User type "Netlex Account": default user manually created within the netLex platform by some administrator whose login and password information is stored on netLex servers. These users login common.
- User Type "Single Sign On": user created through single sign On integration whose login and password information is stored on your company's Active Directory servers. These users log in with a corporate account.
To find out what type a particular user is, you can access the users screen (Settings -> Users), as shown in the image below:
If the user is of the "Single Sign On" type, "Yes" will be displayed in the corresponding column but if a regular user, "No" will be displayed in the corresponding column. See the image below:
Important: If a user is created with the type "NetLex Account" if in the future the same email will log in to the platform using the Single Sign On integration, the user is automatically converted to a "Single Sign On" user.
To convert a "Single Sign On" user to "netLex Account", it is only possible manually by unchecking the "Single Sign On" button in the user edit screen.
